What types of food do we feed our cats and kittens?

          Our kittens are initially given Royal Canin Mother and Babycat wet food when transitioning to solid foods. They are then moved on to Royal Canin Kitten wet food. This comes in two textures, a loaf pate style and a thin slices style. Depending on their preference, kittens will get either of these. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They are also given Hills/ Science Diet kitten dry food.

Kittens will usually be transitioned to another brand of wet food by the time they leave. Currently, our adult cats have been enjoying the Applaws brand wet foods. This brand has NO preservatives and is made with human-grade ingredients (100% protein, no by-products), however, with that, dry food containing Taurine is required as the Applaws wet food will not meet all their dietary/ supplemental needs.

With the Applaws wet food, our adults are provided Hills/ Science Diet adult food in Urinary and Hairball Control. These are bigger sized nuggets that also help with their dental health.
